The Fivefold Path To Harmony - An ongoing Testimony

Courage
In this weary and strife-torn world,
May I ever scent the miasma of human conflict,
And renounce the willful obduracy that causes it,
That I may know God,
Restore life's harmony, and bring peace to my soul.

In this weary and strife-torn world,
May I see the harm caused by others
And forbear retaliation as my response to injury,
That I may know God,
Restore life's harmony, and bring peace to my soul.

In this weary and strife-torn world,
May I hear the refrains of gratitude and repentance
Sung to the anthem of unconditional forgiving,
That I may know God,
Restore life's harmony, and bring peace to my soul

In this weary and strife-torn world,
May I feel the pain my conduct has inflicted upon others,
And with the balm of compassion humbly seek their forgiveness,
That I may know God,
Restore life's harmony, and bring peace to my soul.

In this weary and strife-torn world,
May we savor the sweet, refreshing fruits of love
So abundantly provided at the table of reciprocity,
That we may know God,
Restore life's harmony, and bring peace to our souls.

(This is really a prayer addressed to that of God within me.)
